Lucien Murat "Oups I did it again!"
Lucien Murat (1986- ) is fascinated by the concept of the end of the world, its representation and its impact on the “collective unconscious”. His canvases are patchwork of carefully chosen oldfashioned classic decorative tapestries one could find in each grandmother’s home in France – sewn together. Under his paintbrushes, they are transformed into immense colorful tapestries, questioning the fantasized grandiose of chaos, constantly flirting between absurd and grotesque. Following a foundation course at the Atelier de Sèvres in Paris, Lucien Murat graduated in Fine Art at the prestigious school of Central St Martins in London. Winner of the Arte - Beaux-Arts magazine in 2015, the artist follows in the footsteps of caricaturists and painters of the dark romanticism, or even those of the contemporary Chapman Brothers. An exhibtion that will surely alter your dusty percetion of tapestries...Artist profile
Les 2 Garçons: "Promesse de Renouveau"
"Les Deux Garçons" (Michel Vanderheijden van Tinteren & Roel Moonen) breathe new life, but also new meaning, into animals and/or objects they choose to resurrect. Fascinated by the fleeting and random aspects of our existence, by the subjectivity behind the notions of good and evil, they confront the beholder with their odd, yet beautiful, endearing, yet shocking sculptures.Artist profile

Color Photos & other objects - Markus Hofer
Artist profile
Here and Now - Sean Henry
In this new show titled "Here and Now", Henry brings us his very own vision of "the Millenials", "Generation X" or even "The Baby Boomers". To each generation its codes, its existential crisis's, its culpabilities and aspirations... Well anchored "here and now" in today's world, Sean Henry's figures are each the representation of an ambiguous reality. At times they reflect an exciting or maybe preoccupying inner life; at other times they seem calm and reflective... Each figure comes over more or less familiar, which makes us want to invent their story, fill the gaps in their lives in order to answer all the questions left open to interpretation.Artist profile

Mario Dilitz - Solo exhibition
Mario Dilitz's (born Axams, Austria, 1973) realistic wooden figures stand calmly, their light wood gleams almost transparent, immediately tempting us to touch it, to have our fingers feel the texture and curves. The concern that someone could consider so much realism banal, does not trouble Dilitz. « One can reach great depth through beauty », comments the artist.Artist profile
